Roanoke is located in Denton County, though is close to those big cities in Tarrant County like Fort Worth. Located directly off of Highways 114 and 170, Roanoke has a unique and historical downtown that is jammed packed with iconic restaraunts. Roanoke is home of Babe's Chicken, Hawaiian Falls Water Park, and has been growing by leaps and bounds over the past few years. The students in Roanoke attend Northwest ISD.
